Every MINI engine has its own individual characteristics. Similarly, every MINI engine has its own specific water pump. Designed with the utmost precision, these pumps can be used even in the most extreme temperature conditions (from approx. –25 °C to +150 °C). In line with high MINI standards, their seat is caulked rather than pressed. These standards also require a 100-hour endurance test to establish the pumping quality. Why go to all that trouble? The MINI water pump plays a crucial role in ensuring that other vehicle aggregates function correctly − which in turn goes towards guaranteeing the overall good health of your MINI.
